Autumn Hachey is a digital strategist, design enthusiast and the brains behind autumnhachey.com where she writes about her creative endeavors and spirited adventures. Autumn has a penchant for bold design, a mildly-obsessive collection of cacti and can often be found in the presence of all things yellow. Her unique take on design has been featured on Design*Sponge & House and Home.
With a background in public relations and interior design, Autumn is a content marketing strategist that travels across the country working with some of Canada’s top home decor and lifestyle content creators. She is the editor in chief of Leon’s Hello magazines, and a regular contributor to Apartment Therapy. She’s partnered with brands like Benjamin Moore and HGTV’s Home to Win. Her work has been featured in Canadian Business Magazine and Strategy Magazine, with appearances on Breakfast Television and CHCH.
When she’s not taking on the world of content marketing and brand strategy, Autumn can be found designing, styling and otherwise reimagining every room from kitchens to bedrooms and beyond. Inspired by travel and lush forests, her wanderlust nature has taken her everywhere from Thailand to Costa Rica and the Galapagos Islands. Combining her love of travel and great design, Autumn loves exploring unique and thoughtfully-designed hotel rooms across the globe which she writes about her in blog series GET A ROOM.
Her passion for wanting to help others dream up the impossible – and her love of impeccably designed coffee shops- led her to start #52CoffeeDates, a project where she meets a new person every week to chat biz, and share ideas, experiences, hopes and dreams over coffee. (A medium regular in case you were wondering).
Autumn lives in Toronto with her beau who has graciously agreed to allow her to paint most of their apartment peach. When she’s not working, designing or enjoying coffee, Autumn loves gardening, rummaging through vintage shops and filling her brain with all things marketing.
